6. ago与before的区别
  ago表示以现在为起点的“以前”,常与一般过去时连用,不可以单独使用,通常要在前面加上一段时间,即“一段时间+ago”。
  before指过去或将来的某时刻“以前”,也可泛指以前,,可以单独使用。常和完成时连用
  I saw him an hour ago.
  He told me that he had seen the film before.
  Before he came to our school, I had never seen such a tall boy.
7. now,just与just now的区别
  now:与一般现在时、现在进行时、现在完成时连用,意为“现在”
  just:与现在完成时连用,表示“刚刚,已经,……” not...yet.译为“还没...”
  just now:和过去时连用,表示“刚才”。
  What is he doing now?
  We have just seen the film.
  We have not seen the film yet.
  Have you seen the film yet?
  He was here just now.
8. lonely / alone 的区别
  1).alone 独自一人/没有同伴, 强调形体上的孤单。
  2).lonely 表示孤独,寂寞, 强调心灵上的寂寞,常与feel 连用。也可修饰地点,表示荒凉,偏僻的。
  3).alone 只作表语 (以a开头的形容词一般只作表语,不作定语)而lonely 既可作表语,也可作定语)
  He lives alone on a lonely island .
  He is a lonely boy.(正)  He is an alone boy.(误)
  He is alone, but he doesn’t feel lonely.
9. fast /quickly /soon 的区别.
  fast 表示速度之快  quickly表示动作之快  soon表示时间之快
  He runs so fast.
  You finished my homework quickly.
  I will see you soon.
10. already 与yet区别
  already 与yet 都可解作"已经"。already 主要用于肯定的陈述句中,通常与动词的完成时或进行时连用。如:
  Our visitors have already come .来宾已到。
  When she hurried into her classroom, Mr. White was already beginning his lesson.
  她匆匆走进教室时,怀特先生已经开始上课了。
  already 也可用在疑问句中,常暗示说话人的"惊奇","意外"。例如:
  Have you already had breakfast? 难道你已经吃过早饭了?
  yet 通常与一般现在时或现在完成时连用,多用于疑问句和否定句中。如:    
  Has she decided yet? 她已经决定了吗?
  She hasn’t decided yet. 她还没决定。
  Is breakfast ready yet? 早饭准备好了吗?
11.  how long, how soon , how often , how far 区别
  1). How long 表示“时间多久或物体多长”, 表示时间侧重指“一段时间”.针对“How long” 的回答一般是时间段,如:
   “How long were you away last year?”  “About two weeks”
  2). How often 表示“多少时间一次或每隔多久”,是就做某事的频率提问。针对“how often”的回答一般是表示频率的时间.如:
  “How often do you watch TV?”
  “Three times a week.” / Every day / Often / Hardly
  3). How soon 表示“多久之后”,侧重某人某事能多快时间完成。 How soon 的回答一般为:“ in + 时间段” 。如:
  “How soon will you be ready?”
   “I’ll be ready in five minutes”
  4). How far 表示“多远”  ,询问距离。
  How far is it?  It is three hundred miles. 
12. much too 与too much与too many区别
  much too 后加形容词。  too much 后加不可数名词。Too many后接可数名词的复数。如:
  much too noisy      too much noise    too many cars
13.  too, also, either, as well区别
  also 用在句子中间,too 和either 用在句子末尾。as well 用在肯定句句尾。
  also 和too 和as well都用在肯定句和疑问句中,either 用在否定名中。如:
  I also have a pen. = I have a pen too. =I have a pen as well.
  I don't have a pen, either.
14.  very,much和very much.的区别
  very用于修饰形容词或副词的原级;much用于修饰形容词或副词的比较级;修饰动词要用very much.
  John is very tall.  He runs very fast.
  This garden is much bigger than that one.
  Thank you very much.
15. .so与such的区别
  ⑴so修饰形容词或副词;such 修饰名词. 如:
  My sister runs so fast that I can’t follow her.
  She is so beautiful.
  He is such a boy.
  ⑵so+形容词+a/an+可数名词单数
  such+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数
  such+形容词+可数名词复数/不可数名词
  He is so clever a boy.=He is such a clever boy.
  It is such cold weather.
  They are such good students
 
句型辨析
It’s +形容词+for sb+to do与It’s +形容词+of sb + to do的区别
1.“It’s +adj.+of+sb.+ to do”表示“某人做某事怎么样”。
  注:这一句型中常用描述行为者的性格、品质的形容词,如good( 好的),kind(友善的),nice(友好的),polite(有礼貌的),clever(聪明的),foolish(愚蠢的),lazy(懒惰的). 如:
  It’s very kind of you to help me.(=You are very kind to help me.)
  It’s very rude of her to say such words.(=She is very rude to say such words.
2. “It’s+adj.+for+sb.+to do”表示“做某事对某人来说怎么样”。
  注:这一句型中常用的形容词有important(重要的),necessary(必要的),difficult(困难的),easy(容易的),hard(艰难的),dangerous(危险的),safe(安全的),useful(有用的)等用来修饰事情的形容词。 如:
  It’s not easy for them to learn a foreign language.
  It’s dangerous for a small kid to cross the street alone.
